This bottle, sealed with red and endowed with a symbolic name, tells a tragic story. On Friday, June 13, 2014, Château Ricardelle saw all its vines deluged by a hail storm that lasted 45 minutes. A day of mourning, from which came several months of determination and solidarity, with, as the crowning, the creation of this magnificent cuvée.
A complex bouquet of garrigue and black cherry is elegantly established from the first nose. An ample, structured mouth unfolds on the attack around spicy aromas and vanilla that amplify its length and woody finish. An absolute success, full of harmony and potential, this wine can be drunk in a few years with a duck breast or a beef steak.
